A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
True love.
The truth.

We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense novel from New York Times bestselling author, National Book Award finalist, and Printz Award honoree E. Lockhart.
Read it.
And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.
A beautiful and distinguished family.

MY THOUGHTS:

    E. Lockhart has done it again. Made me fall in love with another beautiful story. We Were Liars is absolutely captivating.  It messes with your mind from the very start of the novel all the way until the last word on that final page. This book had actually made me tear up a bit and the only other book that had ever done that to me was The Fault In Our Stars. NOW IF THAT DOESNT TELL YOU TO IMMEDIATELY GO OUT AND BUY THIS BOOK, I DONT KNOW WHAT WILL.

This is an amazing summer read that will be perfect for young teenagers to older adults. Pick this up for a simple, emotionally destroying beach read!
