MY THOUGHTS:

    Usually I am not such a fan of the old time historical fiction with girls all dressed up in the gorgeous dresses and falling in love with people they're not supposed to fall for. That is the typical storyline to most of these historical fiction love stories. This one in particular stood out to me. As I was reading, I was waiting for the boredom...waiting for the basic storyline. Instead, I was amazed. The mysteries always had me on the edge of my seat, as cliche as that sounds. Although there is some love involved, the mystery and secret aspect struck home to me.
  
    Also, let's admirer this cover. The girl on the front is absolutely gorgeous. The blue on the dress really made this cover stick out to me. Personally, I think this is the best book I have ever read by Katherine Longshore, and if you haven't read this yet, please do! I assure you that you will not be disappointed. (Read if you love the show Downtown Abby, reminded me of that!)

    I love this cover! I also love historical fiction, though I'm not a big fan of historical 'romance'. I don't mind if there is a little romance in my story, but I don't want it to be the main ideal Sounds like this one may fit the bill!
