Before. Miles “Pudge” Halter is done with his safe life at home. He heads off to the sometimes crazy and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe. Because down the hall is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive, screwed up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young. She is an event unto herself. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart. Then. . . .

MY THOUGHTS:
      John Green can do no wrong. Every time I start one of his novels, I cannot put it down until I hit the last page. The amount of emotion he puts into it just takes me away. As I was googling information on this, I saw that this was going to be the next novel of his that is going to be made into a movie! Absolutely cannot wait. This book is a lot more graphic than The Fault In Our Stars. With the amount of drug/alcohol use and the sexual content, some parents tried to ban these from schools and libraries. Personally, that did not affect me at all. 

      Trying to review this without giving much away is very difficult. I want everybody to enjoy this story as much as I did. Basically, it is about a boy names Miles who is sent away to a boarding school. There, he quickly becomes friends with his roommate, nicknamed The Colonel. The Colonel is also friends with a Japanese boy named Takumi and a girl named Alaska. The chapters count down to the main event in the story, for example a chapters name is 'Eighty days before'. It all leads up until the last day and that is when everything will unravel and come down on your emotions.

      No, I did not cry but it really did take a toll on me emotionally. So far, I have read two books by John Green and they were both 5 Anchors. Which John Green book should I read next?
